Carl Zimmermann has touched many lives over the years as a teacher at Countryside High School and to this day leaves an impression on those he meets. Below is a collection of comments from friends, former students and colleagues:

I can’t begin to tell you happy I am for you that you have decided to take another stab at the world of politics. I have looked over the website, and must say that I am impressed with your ideas. I couldn’t agree more with you on this comment that I found near the bottom of your biography page - “My values have not changed; the Republican Party has changed.” So true. You can bet that when the time comes, that I will be there to make the vote for Carl Zimmerman. I know that you are a logical thinker that will approach situations with a level head, and that you are passionate about your work - that’s what made you such a great teacher. You changed my life Mr Z. You believed in me when everyone else had given up. I was a former TV Productions student of yours (Graduating Class of 1998). It was his his direct influence that allowed me to pursue a double major in Film and Digital Media from the University of Central Florida. Since then I’ve started a wildly successful marketing company in Orlando, focusing on 3d animation, video production, and large format signage…Long story short, I believe that “Z” is a great teacher and human being. Not living in FL anymore, but I was a student of yours, Class of ‘87. I had Senior English with you and in my yearbook you wrote: “Elisabeth, Go far. I want to know a famous extremely well informed person and you’re my choice. When you get there (whereever that may be) invite me to celebrate with you.” I’m up in the Boston area. Not terribly famous (though I’ve been in the papers here and there), but I stay well-informed.
